The hearing in connection with the 190 million pounds reference against former chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the Accountability Court of Islamabad was postponed today due to the non-availability of the judge.
Judge Muhammad Bashir was supposed to hear the reference of 190 million pounds against former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail today.
Due to the non-availability of the judge, the hearing was adjourned without proceeding, while the next hearing will be held on February 20.
It should be remembered that the previous hearing could not be conducted due to non-availability of the judge.
Earlier, due to the non-availability of Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Basheer on February 1, the hearing of the 190 million pounds reference against founder PTI and Bushra Bibi was adjourned till February 10 without any action.
The accused were to be charged at the hearing on Thursday, but due to the non-availability of Judge Muhammad Bashir, the hearing was adjourned till February 10.
It should be noted that in the last two days, the special court of the Official Secret Act sentenced Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi to 10 and 10 years of imprisonment in the cipher case and the accountability court sentenced Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi to 14 and 14 years of imprisonment in the Toshakhana NAB reference. It has been heard that both the cases were heard in Adiala Jail.
