9 laborers belonging to Pakistan have been brutally killed in the border area of Iran.
The persons who were killed had gone to Iran for labor and belong to Punjab and Sindh.
The dead bodies of the Pakistanis were shifted to Meher Hospital in Dumki city.
The Iranian Border Police is investigating the incident.
Pakistani authorities have not yet confirmed the identities of the victims.
According to reports received in Quetta, unknown armed persons attacked a quarter in the village of Sirkan in Shistun (Sarawan) city of Iranian Balochistan and killed 9 people belonging to Pakistani Punjab.
Sources say that two of the dead have been identified as Ashfaq and Usman. However, other persons have not been identified.
According to regional sources, Iranian workers and businessmen were living in Balochistan for many years because of their employment. The Iranian police have transferred the bodies to the hospital and started the investigation.
However, no group or organization has claimed responsibility for this major attack till the time of information.
