The round of negotiations between PPP and PML-N on the mission of government formation in the federation has started. It is possible that the positions of President and Speaker of the National Assembly will be given to the PPP.
PPP is likely to get two or three ministries in the Punjab cabinet, PML-G will hold separate talks with other alliance parties including MQM, QL and IPP.
The fifth round of coordination committees of PML-N and PPP is taking place at Ishaq Dar’s residence in Islamabad.
The coordination committees of the two parties will take the final decisions regarding the formation of the government after consulting their respective leaderships.
The PPP will support the PML-N governments in the Center and Punjab, while the PML-N will support the PPP government in Balochistan.
Apart from People’s Party, PML-N has also decided to consult MQM, Q-League, Stability Party, National Party, BNP and BAP.
