Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar has raised the issue of Gaza in front of US President Joe Biden while speaking at the White House.
Calling for an end to the bombing of Gaza during a speech at the St. Patrick’s Day event at the White House, Ireland’s prime minister said the people of Gaza need food, medicine and shelter.
Speaking at the ceremony at the White House, the Irish Prime Minister said that the Irish people are deeply concerned about the devastation that is unfolding before our eyes in Gaza.
“The Irish people are concerned that the bombing of Gaza needs to stop, that the bombing must stop, that the hostages be brought back home and that humanitarian aid be allowed into Gaza,” he said.
