Indian actress Nayantara has apologized for being accused of hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus in her recent Tamil film ‘Annapurni’.
On the social media account Instagram, Nayantara shared a post in which she apologized for her role in the film. “In our sincere attempt to share a positive message, we may have inadvertently caused harm,” the actress wrote. We didn’t expect that a censored movie that was shown in theaters earlier would be removed from the OTT platform. The Indian actress further said that ‘My team and I never intended to hurt anyone’s sentiments and we understand the seriousness of this issue.
