Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar Haq Kakar has accepted the resignation of Zaka Ashraf.
Sources say that it has been decided to nominate Mohsin Naqvi in the PCB instead of Zaka Ashraf, Mohsin Naqvi will be nominated as Patterns representative in the Board of Governors, Mohsin Naqvi is also the caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab at the moment.
It should be noted that Zaka Ashraf resigned from the position in the fourth meeting of the PCB Management Committee. He resigned as Chairman Management Committee and Member Board of Governor.
Zaka Ashraf while talking to private TV said that what is the use of holding a position that does not have powers.
It may be remembered that Zaka Ashraf was appointed Chairman Management Committee PCB in place of Najam Sethi. The tenure of the PCB Management Committee headed by him was to end on February 4.
