Agricultural research institutes managed by Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission have developed a new type of wheat seed for barren land.
In the agricultural exhibition organized by Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission in Faisalabad, modern research in the agricultural sector and introduction of new varieties of crops were presented, while non-toxic agrochemicals and low-cost alternatives to fertilizers were also presented during the exhibition.
Dr. Niaz Khoro, a scientist of Nuclear Institute of Agriculture, Tandojam, while informing about new types of wheat seed for high production and barren land, said that a new type of wheat seed has been developed for barren land.
Agricultural scientist Dr. News Khoro said that this seed can bring self-sufficiency and agricultural revolution by cultivating wheat on millions of acres of barren land.
Agricultural scientists said that the experts of the research centers of NAB, NAIB, NIA Tandojam, and NEFA Peshawar managed by Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission have introduced more than 150 modern and new varieties of cotton, wheat, rice, gram and brassica. Done.
