Army Chief General Asim Munir has appreciated ASP Shahrabano Naqvi’s professionalism during his meeting.
General Asim Munir said that Pakistani women are playing an important role in all spheres of life.
He said that on February 26, Shahrabano Naqvi rescued a woman from the angry crowd in Ichhra Bazaar of Lahore.
The Army Chief lauded ASP Shehrbanu for her selfless dedication in the line of duty and professionalism in handling an uncertain situation.
The Army Chief further said that Pakistani women have distinguished themselves at home and abroad since independence.
Recommendations have been sent to the Government of Pakistan to award Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal (QPM) to Shehrbanu for her unprecedented courage and bravery by the Punjab Police.
The Army Chief said that Pakistani women are playing an important role in all spheres of life, since independence, Pakistani women have distinguished themselves at home and abroad due to their ability, perseverance and determination.
The Army Chief also highlighted that women are an invaluable part of Pakistani society and respect for them is embedded in our religion as well as our social values.
The Army Chief also emphasized the importance of social harmony and the need for nationwide consensus to prevent intolerance.
The Army Chief stressed on the rule of law and said that the law should not be taken into hand while legal avenues are available for redressal of concerns and grievances.
The army chief said that arbitrary actions on the basis of innovation weaken the outlook of the society.
The Army Chief also highlighted Islam’s eternal message of benevolence and kindness.
The Army Chief also appreciated the sacrifices of the law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of the citizens of Pakistan.
