The application will be heard by Islamabad High Court Judge Mohsin Akhtar Kayani.
During the last hearing, the court had remarked that there should be death penalty for those involved in enforced disappearance. If the caretaker prime minister and other officials do not appear, orders will be issued to register a case against them.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar is the second Prime Minister who has been summoned by the Islamabad High Court in his personal capacity on the issue of enforced disappearance.
Earlier, former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also appeared in the Islamabad High Court on the issue of forced disappearance of people belonging to Balochistan.
