Bushra Bibi, the wife of Imran Khan, the former chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, who was convicted in the Tosha Khana case, approached the Islamabad High Court.
An application was filed in the Islamabad High Court for the transfer of Bani Gala to Adiala Jail on behalf of Bushra Bibi.
In the petition filed in the Islamabad High Court, Bushra Bibi has requested to nullify the January 31 notification of the administration declaring Bani Gala as a sub-jail.
It was stated in the petition that I want to be sentenced in Diyala jail like any common prisoner, all citizens are equal in the eyes of the law, political workers are with common prisoners in jails.
The petition further stated that transfer to Bani Gala Sub Jail is against equal rights, on January 31 I was transferred to Sub Jail, on inquiry I was told that Bani Gala accommodation was declared as Sub Jail.
In the petition, it was requested from the court that the notification of January 31 of Chief Commissioner Office Islamabad should be declared invalid.
It should be noted that on January 31, after being sentenced to 14 years in prison by the Accountability Court in the Tosha Khana reference, the residence of Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan was declared a sub-jail and his wife Bushra Bibi was moved to Bani Gala under tight security. has been done.
A notification was also issued to declare Bani Gala as a sub-jail for the former first lady Bushra Bibi and the jail staff was also posted in Bani Gala.
