Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi says that the election has been conducted successfully, everyone has the right to protest, in the last 2 days we have evidence that another incident like May 9 will be done, we have intercepted the calls. In which there is a plan to repeat the events, if anyone tries to do so, this time there will be more action from May 9.
Talking to the media in Lahore, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi said that there is concrete evidence that some people are planning an incident like May 9. We will have to bear the consequences, this time our response will be tougher than before, we don’t want the nation to be divided.
Mohsin Naqvi said that it is everyone’s right to protest politically and no one can stop it. People also have legal recourse, if anyone has objections to the election results, they should refer to the relevant forum.
The caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab further said that the incident of May 9 will not be repeated in any case, the country cannot afford such actions.
He also said that peaceful protest is everyone’s right, the decision to stop the mobile phone service was the decision of the federal government, we have done our duty well, if anyone has any objection to the election results, they can raise it in the relevant forum. Let’s face it, protesting politically is everyone’s right.
