Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has announced to include the heirs of police martyrs in the Ramadan package.
A meeting regarding law and order was held in the province under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, in which the Chief Secretary, IG Police and concerned officials participated.
In the meeting, it was decided to release 3 billion rupees for the purchase of armored vehicles and weapons for the police, apart from this, the Chief Minister announced to include the heirs of police martyrs in the Ramadan package.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that under the Ramadan package, 10, 10 thousand rupees will be given to the heirs of police martyrs.
The Chief Minister directed to set a one-time quota for recruiting the children of martyrs in the police and said that all the children of martyrs waiting for recruitment will be able to be recruited simultaneously through the one-time quota.
Ali Amin directed that safe city project should be started in the divisional headquarters, a workable policy should be formulated for providing security to important persons.
