The European Union has agreed to provide $5.48 billion (€5 billion) in military aid to help Ukraine fight against Russia.

According to media reports, the military aid is part of the recovery of the European Union-managed European Peace Facility (EPF) fund.
EU foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell announced his continued support for Ukraine in a message on social media platforms.
According to the European Union, the EPF has already allocated about 6.1 billion euros for military aid to Ukraine.
