The anti-terrorism court of Rawalpindi granted bail to former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan and former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the case of May 9 incidents, while the court granted bail to Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed and released them. Ordered.

Judge Malik Ijaz Asif of the Anti-Terrorism Special Court approved the bail of Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi while pronouncing the bail decision.
The court granted bail to former prime minister Imran Khan in 12 cases of May 9 tragedy, while bail was also granted to ex-chairman PTI in the GHQ Army Museum attack case.
The court ordered Imran Khan to submit a surety bond of one lakh in all 12 cases.
The court said that all the accused in the May 9 tragedy cases are on bail, so there is no justification to keep the PTI founder under arrest.
Apart from this, the court also granted bail to Shah Mahmood Qureshi in 13 cases.
Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi are unlikely to be released despite the bail being granted as both leaders are convicted in the cipher case.
The court ordered the release of Sheikh Rasheed
Rawalpindi’s anti-terrorism court granted bail to Awami Muslim League chief and former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed in the May 9 case and ordered his release.
Judge Malik Ijaz Asif of the Anti-Terrorism Court heard the case against Sheikh Rasheed for the attack on the gate of the office of a sensitive institution on May 9 and was adjourned as soon as the hearing started. But the hearing started.
Even after the start of the Durbara hearing, no one appeared in the court on behalf of the prosecution, on which the court expressed its displeasure, while Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed’s lawyers Sardar Abdul Raziq Khan and Sardar Shahbaz appeared in the court.
A bail application was made by the lawyers of former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed.
The court granted Sheikh Rasheed’s bail application and directed him to submit a surety bond of Rs 2 lakh.
The court ordered the release of Sheikh Rasheed from Adiala Jail after the police filed a bail bond and said that if Sheikh Rasheed is not wanted in any other case, he should be released.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till February 12. It should be remembered that a case has been registered against Sheikh Rasheed in Newtown police station.
It should be noted that there is a case against Sheikh Rasheed for his involvement in the May 9 incidents, which was being heard in the Anti-Terrorism Court.
