The Election Commission of Sindh has sent a notice to Murtaza Wahab and asked him for a written reply by tomorrow.
In the notice sent to Mayor Karachi, the Election Commission says, ‘You are supporting a particular political party.’
According to the notice, the talk given in the press conference of Mayor Karachi in favor of PP may influence the opinion of the voters.
The Provincial Election Commission has made it clear that elected local body representatives cannot support political parties under the Code of Conduct.
