PPP Karachi Division President Saeed Ghani alleged that Mustafa Kamal is responsible for yesterday’s incident, he has been giving threats for many days.
Saeed Ghani told in the press conference that our flags and banners were burnt in different areas of Karachi, cartridges were sent to the house of a worker, MQM is becoming a united party again.
He said that our banners and flags were burnt in Nazimabad, three PPP workers were injured in the incident, there were attacks on PPP offices for the past several days, People’s Party registered a case of attack on an office yesterday, and MQM An FIR has been lodged against our workers.
Saeed Ghani alleged that MQM people entered one of our meetings, the workers were abused, PPP banners were torn in Jafar Tayar area, our flags and banners were being taken down in many areas of Central District.
Saeed Ghani further said that the PPP held a good rally in Central yesterday, after which a sad incident happened, a video was posted on social media by an MQM woman in which the vehicles of the PPP were being fired upon.
Saeed Ghani said that the whole incident happened in the presence of the police, MQM used to not allow anyone to come to central district, today all the blame is being put on PP, it seems that MQM is worried about the elections, MQM is sure that the situation is not good. That is why they have started beating people.
Saeed Ghani demanded that a judicial investigation be conducted into yesterday’s incident so that the truth can come out. If the PPP workers are involved in it, we are responsible.
