At 6 polling stations of NA 43 Tank, the election process became a joke, voters started exercising their right to vote by taking money.
On February 8, the Election Commission had issued a notification to stop polling at these 6 polling stations due to the poor security situation in DI Khan.
A bitter contest is expected between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf-backed independent candidate Dawar Khan Kundi and Mufti Asad Mehmood of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam F from this constituency. Maulana Asad Mahmood is the son of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam.
The JUIF candidate had requested for re-polling at these polling stations of NA 43.
The polling process is going on in these constituencies, however, in the video received by News today, it can be seen that one vote is being sold for Rs 5,000 to 7,000 in Atal Sharif area.
