The Lahore High Court ordered the petitioners to approach the Coalition Commission on the petitions filed against the success of Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Nawaz Sharif and party president Shehbaz Sharif in the general elections, while the court also issued a written order for the petitions.
Justice Ali Baqir Najafi of Lahore High Court issued a written decision on the petition of Advocate Chaudhry Ishtiaq against the success of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
The court wrote in the written decision that the applicant wants to withdraw the application from the court due to the decision of the Election Commission. The court dismissed the petition on grounds of withdrawal.
On the other hand, the Lahore High Court rejected the application of Muhammad Yusuf, the candidate against the President of Muslim League-N Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, on the grounds of withdrawal.
The court wrote in the written judgment that the petitioner is willing to place the matter before the Election Commission, while the court dismissed the petition on the grounds of withdrawal.
