PTI Barristers Gohar, Umar Ayub and Hasan Rauf held a press conference with Majlis Wahdat al-Muslimeen leader Raja Nasir Abbas and Sunni Unity Council leader Hamid Raza.
At the start of the press conference, Barrister Gauhar once again claimed that PTI has won 180 seats in the National Assembly. He announced that the Tehreek-e-Insaf-backed members of the National, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies will join the Sunni Union Council.

Majlis Wahdat al-Muslimeen (MWM) Allama Raja Nasir Abbas was also present during the press conference, but the alliance was announced only with the Sunni Unity Council. It should be noted that PTI had announced an alliance with MWM immediately after the election, but this decision was changed.
Chairman PTI said that we have an agreement for specific seats as well. We will request the Election Commission to allocate specific seats to us.
He said that in tough situations we have to support each other and our unity is for this country.
At the beginning of this conference, while welcoming Chairman Sunni Ittehad Council Sahibzada Hamid Raza and Chairman Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Allama Raja Nasir, Barrister Gohar said that our candidates contested the election as independent, our position is that successful candidates belong to PTI. .
Secretary General PTI Umar Ayub said that they do not want sectarianism in the country, the PTI-backed Sunni alliance will participate in the council. We want the whole nation to be united.
