Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Azam Swati and Khurram Zeeshan challenged the decision to reject the papers for the Senate elections, both filed petitions in the Appellate Tribunal.
Azam Swati while talking to the media after filing petitions in the Appellate Tribunal in Peshawar High Court said that I and Khurram Zeeshan, who is a candidate for the Senate, have come to the court.
He added that my papers have been rejected on the basis of lack of experience for general and technocrat but hope to get relief from the tribunal.
On the question of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa calling assembly meeting, Azam Swati said that despite being empowered by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the governor has called the assembly meeting which is illegal, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is consulting on the decision of the governor.
