Renowned journalist and senior member of Karachi Press Club Nader Shah Adil alias Shahji passed away after prolonged illness. Shah ji was Sahib Farash for some time.
Nader Shah has rendered outstanding services in various fields of journalism. He was a keen analyst. His pen had an extraordinary bite. Apart from serving in the magazine and sports sections of various newspapers, he was also associated with Awaz International, a London-based newspaper.
Nader Shah Adil was in charge of the editorial section of the Karachi daily Express for a long time.
Nadir Shah Adil also acted in the first Baloch film with veteran TV actor Anwar Iqbal (of Nana Ki Jaan Qamru fame).
Nader Shah Adil had an extraordinary passion for show business. Once the great Hollywood actor Charlton Heston came to Karachi, Nader Shah Adil met him.
Staying in Lyari was not possible if there was no passion for football. Nader Shah Adil also wrote a book on the great Argentinian footballer Diego Maradona.
