The Election Commission of Pakistan has rejected the Sunni Etihad Council’s request for specific seats.

The independent MLAs supported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf have joined the Sunni Etihad Council after winning the election.

On this basis, the Sunni Ittehad Council filed an application for reserved seats for women and minorities in the Election Commission, on which the decision was reserved after hearing.
