The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released the final result of the presidential election.

Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja as the returning officer released the final result of the presidential election on Form 7, according to which Asif Ali Zardari has been elected as the president in the presidential election.
According to the Form 7 issued by the Returning Officer, a total of 1,044 votes were cast in the presidential election, of which 1,035 votes were declared valid while 9 votes were rejected. Khan Achakzai got 181 votes.
According to Form 7, Asif Ali Zardari got 255 votes from Parliament, 58 from Sindh Assembly, 8 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, 43 from Punjab Assembly and 47 from Balochistan Assembly.
Mahmood Khan Achakzai got 119 votes from Parliament, 3 from Sindh Assembly, 41 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, 18 from Punjab Assembly while Mahmood Khan Achakzai did not get any votes from Balochistan Assembly.
The Election Commission has issued a letter to the Secretary Cabinet Division sending the final result of the presidential election to the Secretary Cabinet Division, including the final result.
The Election Commission directed the Secretary Cabinet Division to issue the notification of the success of Asif Ali Zardari.
It should be noted that the newly elected President Asif Ali Zardari will take the oath of office today.
