The nomination papers of Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari for the presidential elections have been approved.

Nomination papers for the presidential candidate of former President Asif Ali Zardari were submitted in the Islamabad High Court which were approved after scrutiny.
The Chief Election Commissioner is the Returning Officer of the Presidential Elections and he approved the papers of the former President after scrutiny.
Leader of People’s Party Farooq H. Naik said that no objection was raised on the nomination papers of Asif Zardari and his papers were approved as the presidential candidate.
On the other hand, Sunni Unity Council presidential candidate Mahmood Khan Achakzai reached the Election Commission regarding nomination papers.
Mahmood Khan Achakzai is accompanied by Malik Amir Dogar and Sheikh Waqas Akram.
