West Indies defeated Australia by 8 runs in the second and final Test match of the two-Test series in Brisbane to level the series at 1-1.
Chasing the target of 215 runs set by the West Indies to win, the hosts Australia were bundled out for just 207 runs. Steve Smith scored an unbeaten 91 runs and none of the Kangaroo batters could stay at the crease.

This is West Indies’ first Test win against Australia in 27 years. The credit goes to the Caribbean bowler Shamar Joseph who won the match by taking the wickets of 7 Kangaroos batsmen in the second innings.
Joseph took two first innings for a total of 9 wickets in the match, taking his tally to 13 in the series.
Joseph was adjudged not only the man of the match but also the man of the series for this victorious performance.
