Pistachios are not only beautiful to look at but also taste great.

This green nut has a slightly sweet taste and eating them can keep metabolic syndrome at bay.

This was revealed in a medical study in America.

It should be noted that metabolic syndrome is a combination of conditions such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, high blood sugar and high blood fat, which increases the risk of heart disease, diabetes and death.

A study from Vanderbilt University Medical Center found that eating nuts like pistachios daily helps prevent metabolic syndrome.

The study included 84 people between the ages of 22 and 36 who were at risk for one of the disorders associated with metabolic syndrome, such as blood pressure, blood sugar, excess fat or cholesterol.

The subjects were divided into 2 groups and one group was given either pistachios or other nuts for 16 weeks.

Another group was given biscuits or other similar items.

No further changes were made to the diet or lifestyle of these individuals.

The results showed that the risk of metabolic syndrome decreased by 67% in women and 42% in men who consumed pistachios or other nuts.

The results also showed that eating large amounts of pistachios does not increase body weight but reduces fat around the stomach and waist.

Similarly, eating nuts lowers insulin levels in the blood, which helps prevent type 2 diabetes.

Researchers also discovered that consuming nuts makes our body use fat more efficiently for energy.

“We examined the effects of nut consumption on body weight and found that consumption of pistachios or other nuts helps improve health,” the researchers said.

He said that eating pistachios provides the body with components such as protein, fiber, vitamin B6, phosphorus, copper and vitamin B1, which are very important for health.

The results of the study were published in the journal Nutrition.
